Introduction to CMMI for Services and Development Supplement (and preparation for CMMI Associate Certificate)

Our 4 day combined CMMI for Services and Development training course satisfies a pre-requisite for participation in both CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC appraisals, and will also prepare you for the CMMI Associate Certificate exam.

The CMMI Associate Certificate was introduced by the CMMI Institute in late 2014 as an entry level personal CMMI qualification which provides confirmation of an individual’s knowledge of basic and intermediate concepts and demonstrates a dedication to excellence and the pursuit of valuable skills to help to elevate organizational performance. CMMI Associates are examined for their understanding of the three CMMI models:  CMMI for Acquisition, CMMI for Development, and CMMI for Services.

The course consists of a CMMI Institute certified 3 day Introduction to CMMI for Services with the 4th day providing a CMMI Institute certified CMMI for Development Supplement and a brief overview of the CMMI for Acquisition.  Benefits of attending this course include:
  • Good understanding of the background concepts of process improvement and CMMI
  • Good understanding of the purpose and structure of the CMMI model
  • Good understanding of the process areas covered by the CMMI for Services, Development and Acquisition variants
  • Good understanding of the similarities and differences of the Services, Development and Acquisition variants
  • Practice level understanding of all process areas in the CMMI for Services and CMMI for Development variants
