Background:

Millions of global users rely on mobile applications to manage a range of increasingly varied tasks. It is imperative that IT professionals remain up to date with the latest advancements in mobile technology in order to recognise the ever-changing impacts on testing, security and performance. This tutor-led course is carried out over two days based on the iSQI syllabus and materials. Delegates on this course will receive an introduction and broad understanding of the concepts of Mobile App Testing through a variety of exercises and examples.

Objectives:

• Build upon existing testing experience and knowledge to test mobile applications
• Identify and apply appropriate methods for testing of characteristics unique to mobile technology

• Identify and use the appropriate tools to assist in mobile application testing, including emulators and simulators
• Assist the mobile application team in identifying potential test automation activities and the corresponding tools
• Assist with identifying the requirements for a test lab when carrying out mobile app testing

Exam Details:

The exam is included within the course and comprises of a one-hour multiple-choice exam. This will take place on day two of the course. To successfully pass the exam, delegates must achieve a 65% grade.

Prerequisite:

Please note that the ISTQB Foundation Certificate is a prerequisite for this course.
