Experienced Training and Conference Sales Executive - Uxbridge
ROLE:
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced training / conference sales professional ideally with 2 years or more experience.
You will be responsible for selling public and in-house training and conferences and developing key accounts. There are also opportunities for selling conference sponsorship.
You will be based in Uxbridge, West London working from an established database of clients and supported fully from the marketing department but expected to work under your own initiative to generate new leads, close sales and build long-term accounts.
You will be selling to executives and professionals within blue-chip private and public sector organisations in the UK and Europe.
UNICOM is currently expanding its portfolio of courses and conferences and wants to increase 1) the number of attendees on its public events and 2) its volume of in-house business so is seeking candidates who can demonstrate skill in up-selling and finding opportunities for further business from existing clients and new leads.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE ROLE:
Applicants should have a proven track record of selling training and / or conferences and closing and developing business over the phone.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required for this role.
Ability to work under his/her own initiative
High level of self-motivation and commitment
The successful candidate will come from a results and activity-driven role where his or her success is entirely dependent on the output.
PACKAGE:
Salary and commission package is negotiable depending on experience. All employees receive commission and performance related bonuses.
